Week 6 Player Props + YourWay
Coming off a 4-1 week and exploring FanDuel’s new “YourWay” market for hidden value
Hey Guys,
Hope everyone’s doing well as we head into Week 6!
Last week was a great one — we went 4-1. We got a little lucky with Trevor Etienne coming through after Rico Dowdle’s eruption, and a little unlucky with Xavier Worthy’s injury popping up Sunday after we had already taken his over. That’s prop betting for you — trying to beat the market before sharp money moves lines always comes with some variance.
Through five weeks, we’re sitting at 12-12, down a bit of juice. While I look for edges across the board, my bread and butter has been running back unders — it’s where I feel most confident and where variance tends to be lower than in receiving props.
We missed Kareem Hunt’s under back in Week 2, but we’ve since gone 7-1 on RB unders. Even as markets tighten with more data each week, I still believe it’s our biggest edge.
The longer you bet, the more you realize that exploitable markets evolve over time. One of my old favorites was NBA first quarters, where you could parlay something like Marcus Smart first-quarter assists and Jayson Tatum rebounds at around -115 — numbers they’d hit close to 90% of the time. DraftKings probably lost plenty on that market before pulling it entirely, and when it came back, the payouts were much sharper.
We’ve seen similar adjustments in the NFL. Books used to allow alt unders in SGPs — a huge potential edge for bettors — but most removed them, limiting us to listed unders or alt overs that favor the house.
This season, though, FanDuel has introduced a feature called YourWay, which lets you build alt unders at the number of your choosing — and even combine them across multiple games. My brother and I have been experimenting with it, and while the sample size is small, the results have been strong so far.
I’m generally a straight bettor, but this new option offers a great mix of edge and flexibility. You can take the unders you like at safer lines, combine them, and still get a reasonable payout — far more appealing than chasing a +400 long-shot SGP.
I wanted to highlight this market so you can take advantage of it responsibly. It’s a tool worth exploring, especially if you prefer consistent, data-backed plays over swings for the fences.
Let’s get into this week’s props — and I’ll share a few of my favorite YourWay parlays at the bottom.
