Week 11 Bets + Weekly Specials
These last six days may have been some of the worst beats I’ve been a part of as a sports bettor.
When Josh Allen fumbled at the one-yard line on that QB sneak it was a 9.1 unit swing.
Not only did we end up losing on Josh Allen’s passing yards, but we also ended up losing on Patrick Mahomes most passing yards because that game went to overtime.
We launched NBA props for Stealing Lines headed by Mike Braude and on the first night we bet Klay Thompson under 17.5 points in the game. With one minute left in the game Klay Thompson had 12 points. He proceeded to scored 7 (!!) points in the final minute to go over his prop.
What made this so frustrating was the game was a blowout and all starters on both teams had left the game at the end except for Thompson.
Move forward to Thursday night and I put out a Underdog “Pick ‘Em” parlay that had the following:
Aaron Rodgers over 33.5 pass attempts
Aaron Jones under 13.5 rush attempts
Derrick Henry over 22.5 rush attempts
Ryan Tannehill under 26.5 pass attempts
With 2:04 left in the game, all of our plays were in the green and we just needed the Titans to run the clock out as the Packers had no timeouts and it was a 10 point lead at this point.
On first and ten the Titans threw a deep ball to Treylon Burks for 51 yards. Ryan Tannehill proceeded to get his 27th pass attempt on that play and the parlay lost.
Just an unreal week and writing this out is making me relive these terrible beats.
The moral of the story is that this happens. Sometimes it will feel like everything that can go wrong will go wrong, but there will also be times where everything that can go right will go right.
For every bad beat, there’s a good beat. It just depends on which side you’re on.
For those frustrated or demoralized after this week and these plays, my best advice is to just keep on churning. These make for some crazy sports betting stories later.
I won’t forget the week in which Josh Allen’s quarterback sneak and these other fluky plays cost me thousands of dollars.
With that being said we move on and can just hope that we continue to put out good plays.
Let’s get into the plays this week.
