Elijah Moore over 800.5 receiving yards -115 (DraftKings)
I hate betting overs but it’s hard to see a scenario in which a healthy Elijah Moore does not reach this line.
Last year as a rookie his 17 game pace was 831 yards. This was despite Moore having a total of 79 receiving yards through his first five games!
From weeks 8-13 Elijah Moore started his rookie breakout as he was top seven amongst all WRs in the NFL in both targets per route run and yards per route run. His season long pace during this 6 game stretch was 1300 receiving yards.
It’s tough to extrapolate small samples like this, but there’s a couple things at play here that should alleviate concerns.
First, Elijah Moore was an incredible prospect coming out with elite production at a young age in college and also tested out as an elite athlete.
Second is the fact that we tend to see receivers get a big bump in production in their second season in the league. If Moore was able to put up those numbers in that span as a rookie, he could even be that much better this season.
Reports out of training camp have been nothing but amazing for Moore.
He legit has a chance to have a massive breakout this year.
